Freight Operations Manager

This is a unique opportunity to contribute your logistical expertise and data validation skills to our organization.

As Freight Operations Manager, you will be responsible for tracking and managing shipment levels across multiple locations to ensure timely arrival and departure. You will also prepare and manage necessary customs documentation for international shipments.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Shipment Tracking and Management: Oversee the daily operations of shipments, ensuring they meet deadlines and customer requirements.
  • Customs Documentation Coordination: Prepare and manage necessary customs documentation for international shipments.
  • Carrier Management: Manage relationships with carriers, including rate negotiations and compliance with service agreements.
  • Compliance Management: Ensure all logistics activities comply with international trade regulations and company policies.

Requirements:

  • Experience working in freight forwarding, shipping line, or brokerage firms, either locally or internationally.
  • Familiarity with shipping documents (BOLs, AWBs, PKLs, invoices, etc.).
  • Detail-oriented with experience in data entry and data validation tasks.
  • Comfortable with modern software, technology, and computer systems.
  • Familiarity with Transport Management Systems (TMS), especially Cargowise or Magaya.
  • Graduate of Customs Administration or similar degree program.
  • Licensed customs broker.
  • Ability to effectively communicate ideas clearly and concisely in English, both in speaking and writing (C1).
  • Client management experience is a plus.

  • Intel Core i5 6th gen or above.
  • AMD Ryzen 3 or above.
  • Internet Service: Minimum speed of 25 mbps.
  • Available HDD Space: 50 GB.
  • Microsoft Suite (Excel, Word, and Powerpoint).
