Email Solutions Specialist Job Description

About the Email Solutions Specialist Role:

This is a multifaceted position that seeks highly motivated and proactive professionals who can contribute to our organization's success. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in email operations, deliverability, or a related field.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist clients in setting up and optimizing email campaigns using leading platforms.
  • Provide guidance on best practices for email deliverability, including sender reputation management, authentication protocols, and IP management.
  • Troubleshoot technical issues related to email campaigns, collaborating with customers and internal teams to resolve problems.
  • Educate clients on email compliance standards, such as CAN-SPAM and GDPR.
  • Collaborate with product and development teams to improve platform features and address client feedback.
  • Create and manage visual email automation workflows within chosen platforms and other collaborative tools.
  • Conduct training sessions and create documentation to enhance user adoption and success.
  • Monitor email performance metrics and recommend strategies to improve engagement and deliverability.

Requirements:

  • 2+ years of experience in email operations, deliverability, or a related role at a SaaS company or digital agency.
  • Strong understanding of IP management, email authentication protocols (SPF, DKIM, DMARC), and sender reputation.
  • Familiarity with email marketing platforms, ESPs, and SMTP relay services.
  • Experience troubleshooting email deliverability issues and working with ISPs or anti-spam services.
  • Knowledge of email compliance regulations (CAN-SPAM, GDPR).
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally with customer support, product, and development teams.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with email analytics tools and monitoring platforms.
  • Basic knowledge of HTML/CSS for email template troubleshooting.
  • Familiarity with API integrations related to email services.
