We are seeking a Senior Auditor to lead external audits of non-profit organizations and trust accounts in accordance with Australian legislation.

About the Role

As a Senior Auditor, you will be responsible for planning, conducting fieldwork, reporting, delivering audit opinions, management letters, and recommendations aligned with Australian Auditing Standards. You will also advise on internal controls, risk management, and technical accounting issues.

  • A minimum of five years' experience in external audits, including non-profit and trust accounts
  • Proficient with audit software (e.g., CaseWare), advanced Excel, and financial reporting tools
  • Strong knowledge of Australian Auditing Standards, AASB frameworks, and non-profit compliance
  • Experience testing controls over payroll, procurement, revenue recognition, and grant acquittals
  • Excellent English communication skills for reports, client liaison, and presentations
