Opportunity Overview

This is an opportunity to shape the finance operations of a small, specialized healthcare recruitment start-up.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for strengthening day-to-day accounting and finance operations, automating processes, and creating clear financial reports to support business growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Process Enhancement: Improve the setup/configuration of QuickBooks Online for Canadian entity, including chart of accounts, bank feeds, and automation rules.
  • Financial Management: Manage and automate accounting and financial tasks such as reconciliations, accounts receivable, accounts payable, payroll, and reporting.
  • Financial Tool Transition: Migrate existing financial tools from Excel/Google Sheets into automated reporting app for two very small entities (one in UK and one in Canada).
Requirements
  • Accounting Expertise: Solid accounting and bookkeeping skills.
  • Digital Literacy: Digitally savvy with ability to streamline processes and leverage automation tools.
  • Excel/Google Sheets Proficiency: Excellent Excel and/or Google Sheets skills (formulas, pivot tables, dashboards).
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Hands-on, detail-oriented, proactive about process improvements.
Work Environment
