Medical Coding Career Developer

The Medical Coding Trainer is a key role that involves conducting medical coding education for new and existing medical coders. The primary goal of this position is to develop and maintain high-quality training programs that equip medical coders with the necessary skills and knowledge to excel in their roles.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and deliver comprehensive training modules on medical coding, including ICD-10 CM, CPT, and E/M coding.
- Collaborate with subject matter experts to create and update training materials, ensuring they are accurate, relevant, and aligned with industry standards.
- Design and implement assessment tools to evaluate coder performance and provide constructive feedback.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of medical coding guidelines, regulations, and best practices.
- Graduate of any Medical or Allied Medical course or has equivalent work experience.
- CPC certification from AAPC or CCS certification from AHIMA.
- Proficient with Revenue Cycle Management, E/M, and Procedure Coding.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and analytical skills.
