As a key member of our accounting team, the Accounting Clerk - Financial Support Specialist will provide critical support to the accounting department, ensuring seamless financial operations and accurate record-keeping. This role is ideal for individuals with a strong background in accounting, a keen eye for detail, and excellent organizational skills.
About the Role
Responsibilities include:
- Providing accounting and clerical support to the accounting department
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records and documents
- Preparing bank deposits, general ledger postings, and statements
- Reconciling accounts in a timely manner
- Entering key financial data into our database
- Providing assistance and support to company personnel
- Researching, tracking, and resolving accounting or documentation issues
Requirements and Qualifications
We are seeking an individual with:
- Proven accounting experience, preferably as an Accounts Receivable Clerk or Accounts Payable Clerk
- Familiarity with bookkeeping and basic accounting procedures
- Competency in MS Office, databases, and accounting software
- Hands-on experience with spreadsheets and financial reports
- Accuracy and attention to detail
- Aptitude for numbers
- Ability to perform filing and record-keeping tasks
- Data entry and word processing skills
- Well-organized and able to prioritize tasks effectively
