Senior ServiceNow Developer Role

This is a highly specialized position that requires extensive knowledge and expertise in software development, specifically with ServiceNow. As a Senior ServiceNow Developer, you will be responsible for participating in the entire software development cycle, from requirements' analysis to design, development, unit testing, and documentation.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of delivering high-quality applications and features on time and within budget. You will also be responsible for identifying security, usability, and other issues, and formulating strategies to resolve them.

This role involves working independently, without guidance, with a broader overview of the project. You will take ownership of complex application features and resolve key technical issues related to assigned projects. Additionally, you will comply with estimation processes and be responsible for accurate personal estimates.

Your responsibilities will include developing required software features, achieving timely and quality delivery, and delivering training and participating in knowledge sharing. You will also mentor new software engineers in the team and integrate new technologies.

To succeed in this role, you will need to have advanced understanding of server scripts, client scripts, flows, and REST API (SOAP is a plus). Experience in Catalog Items and Service Portal and custom widgets are also beneficial. If you have experience in AngularJS, it would be an added advantage.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Participate in the entire software development cycle - requirements' analysis, design, development, unit testing, and documentation.
  • Responsible for long-term code reusability and stability.
  • Proactively identify security, usability etc. issues and formulate strategies to resolve them.
  • Work independently, without guidance, with a broader overview on the project.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
