As a Credentialing Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in supporting the credentialing process for healthcare providers.
About the Job:This position involves providing comprehensive support for all aspects of credentialing and re-credentialing, including managing applications, conducting primary source verification, and maintaining the credentialing database with accuracy and attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities:- Credentialing Support: Provide comprehensive support for all aspects of the credentialing and re-credentialing process, including managing applications and conducting primary source verification.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure adherence to all relevant federal, state, and local regulations and accreditation standards.
- Privileging and Onboarding: Assist with the provider privileging process and facilitate the credentialing components of new provider onboarding.
- Reporting and Process Improvement: Support the generation of credentialing reports and contribute to the improvement of credentialing processes and workflows.
You are a highly organized and detail-oriented individual, eager to contribute to a growing healthcare organization. You have 1-3 years of relevant administrative experience, preferably in a healthcare setting or regulated environment.
Administrative Acumen: A keen eye for detail and a methodical approach to managing documentation and data.
Collaborative & Independent Contribution: Proven ability to work effectively within a team environment and manage tasks independently with minimal supervision.
Communication & Collaboration: Clear and effective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams and external stakeholders.
Organizational & Time Management: Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities in a dynamic environment.
Tech Proficiency: Proficient in Google Suite, CRM/support software, and comfortable learning new EHR/credentialing management tools.
