Job Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Freelance Peer Reviewer to join our team of experts in the field of epidemiology.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess manuscript novelty and ensure it adds new knowledge or insights to the field.
  • Evaluate study design and methodology, ensuring they are appropriate and comprehensive.
  • Conduct literature reviews to verify the manuscript incorporates up-to-date research.
  • Analyse results and conclusions, evaluating their clarity and appropriateness.
  • Provide constructive feedback to authors, suggesting improvements and highlighting flaws or omissions.
  • Recommend publication decisions based on evaluation.
Requirements
  • Doctorate (PhD/MD) or equivalent advanced degree in epidemiology or a related field.
  • At least two publications in the last two years in epidemiology or a related field.
  • Excellent analytical and critical thinking skills, with ability to provide clear, concise, and constructive feedback.
  • Strong written communication skills and ability to manage time effectively.
  • Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and objectivity.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Prior experience as a peer reviewer for academic journals.
  • Familiarity with online manuscript submission and review systems.
