Role: Operations Associate

Work Schedule: Full Time | 40+ hours (variable) | M-F (variable) | Eastern Time (ET)

Salary Range: up to US$1500 a month (depending on experience and skill set, with opportunities for pay adjustment as the business is scaling up quickly)

Our client is an up and coming player in the world of health tech, specializing in empowering home care agencies and home health providers automate processes through their range of software solutions.

They are looking for an Operations Associate who can take ownership of multiple functions of the business as they scale up. This is a remote, full time role that will have you interface regularly with a lean team (co-founders included) as you help the business scale up and scale out.

Role and Responsibilities:

As a startup, you will be working with a lean team who are all taking on different challenges and wearing multiple hats day by day. As Operations Associate, your main responsibilities include, but may not be limited to the following:

  • Operations Support: Systems Hygiene, SOPs, Templatization, Communications Hygiene. Maintaining systems, creating and updating SOPs and templates, ensuring clear and effective communication practices. Problem-solving support, research
  • Data Entry/Data Hygiene/Analytics Support: Entering and organizing data, ensuring its accuracy and cleanliness, and providing support for analytics tasks
  • Project Management: Planning, organizing, and coordinating tasks and resources to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget
  • Accounting Support: Assisting in accounting tools upkeep and exporting data to ensure accuracy on the accounting function
  • Adhoc Admin Work: Handling various administrative tasks on an as-needed basis to support day-to-day operations
  • Client Success/SDR Support: Assist in managing client relationships by supporting in funnel management, database management, trends and patterns reporting. Initiate and own follow up sequences
  • Continuous Learning and Research: Stay updated on industry trends and incorporate new knowledge into daily operations

Immediate tasks anticipated for the candidate to fully own on week 1:

As you slowly integrate into the role and client environment, you will be expected to start fully owning the following functions within your first week:

  • Accounting Support: Assisting in accounting tools upkeep and exporting client data to ensure accuracy on the accounting function
  • Client Success/SDR Support: Assist in managing client relationships by supporting in funnel management, database management, trends and patterns reporting. Initiate and own follow up sequences in email
  • Social Media Management/Marketing: Assist in email campaigns, social media upkeep and engagement to boost brand visibility and audience growth
  • Adhoc Admin Work: Handling various administrative tasks on an as-needed basis to support day-to-day operations

  • Proven experience in Operations: Demonstrates skill in operational projects, tasks, and optimization
  • Project Management: Efficiently handles projects to achieve goals
  • High Agency + Self Starter: Demonstrates ownership and accountability. Proactively initiates and completes tasks
  • High Organization and Attention to Detail: Maintains meticulous organization and precision in tasks
  • Data Analysis + Trend/Pattern Recognition: Analyzes data to spot trends and patterns for strategic insights
  • Adaptability in Fast-Paced Startup Environment: Excels in dynamic, fast-paced settings. Willing to wear different hats to get stuff done
  • Effective Communication: Communicates clearly and concisely for collaboration. Excellent written and verbal English skills
  • Critical Thinking: Objectively evaluates for informed decisions

  • Design Skills and Creative Inclination: Proficient in design, including working with tools like Figma
