Job Description

Main Purpose:

Drive and grow the retail motor and general insurance business. Create and launch services and service ecosystems for customer acquisition and retention.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Define and analyze customer needs for various general insurance retail and motor related aspects.
  • Create and launch related products based on market/ customer need/ distributor FGD and feasibility of products from sales, profitability, and servicing perspective.
  • Launch various marketing campaigns on a regular for product awareness, customer acquisition and distribution awareness.
  • Work with distribution on the design of various proposition
  • Drive and create training decks for distributors for various propositions.
  • Identify and tie up various related service providers to provide value added service to our current and potential customers.
  • Drive the digital initiatives and make an eco-system
  • Drive lead generation programs.
  • Create various tools to attract new customers for engagement and acquisition
  • Work on various initiates with region/group
  • Managing the Proposition Development Process from brief generation, proposal development through to approval gates and Business Sign Off, ensuring concepts meet regulatory requirements, brief objectives and deliverables
  • Develop new product and proposition development plans and priorities based on customer insights, market intelligence, and financial return.
  • Manage risks involved in product development by determining probability and impact of risks and developing strategies to mitigate those risks

Qualifications:

  • At least 12 years of experience with 5 years extensive background in the PH motor industry. Preferably deals with the operations and/or business strategy of car dealers, car manufacturers, GI brokers for motor and the like
  • Deep understanding of customer behaviors and attitudes
  • Strong business understanding of general insurance and motor segment
  • Good quantitative and analytical skills
  • Good communications and influencing skills
  • Ability to lead team of professional people
  • Relevant stakeholders management skills
  • Understands P&L of the business and is a good communicator
  • Business or Management scholastic background
  • Background in underwriting or actuary is a huge advantage but not required
  • Basic car insurance and car claims understanding is a must
