Summary of the role:

The Regional Supply Planner is responsible for monitoring and managing the on time and in full distribution of supply allocated to the APAC region according to the demand plan. This includes timely and accurate supply to fulfill APAC sales channels, supply vs demand analysis, inventory management and reporting, as well as continuous process improvement. This role is critical to serve Maxeon's customers in the APAC region and support sales, ensuring we can meet customers' expectations in terms of orders fulfillment while maintaining healthy inventory levels.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analysis and reporting of supply and demand balance to support:

- Sales Targets

- Service level target (On Time Delivery)

- Inventory Targets

  • Reviews and analyses weekly ODP (Optimized Delivery Plan) from factory, to identify variances and risks to supply, and communicate it to Sales team, Management, and/or Global Planning (SIOP)
  • Coordinates with the Factory, SIOP and Demand Planning teams to ensure accurate and timely supply, whilst minimizing excess inventory considering updated demand profiles
  • Decides supply allocation per APAC regional warehouse based on D&S analysis and triggers 'GTG' (Shipment request) in order to ensure timely supply
  • Makes supply allocation to Direct Customer Shipment deals based on demand profile and weekly supply allocated to the region
  • Partners with Logistics teams to deliver supply performance KRs and prepare contingency plans in the event of unknown supply delays
  • Prepares monthly supply vs demand view to identify mid-term supply gaps or excess inventory
  • Defines and optimizes regional safety stock levels
  • Supports NPI (product launches) and EOL (End of Life) processes considering supply impacts
  • Provides guidance for inventory depletion in the region
  • Facilitates various supply planning related meetings (such as S&OE, Aging Inventory review) with respective teams such as Sales, PSRs, Demand Planning teams, and/or SIOP team
  • Participates in the standardization of planning processes and tools, develop improvements and share best practices with other regions
  • Creation of IR (Internal Requisition) to ensure accurate supply transaction in the system
  • Backup of APAC Master Scheduler
  • Performs other duties as may be assigned by superior from time to time

Required Qualifications and Experience:

  • BA/BS or equivalent experience required
  • Minimum of 3 years experience in a supply chain planning role, with supply planning knowledge
  • Skilled in the use of MS Suite of systems (esp. Excel and Power Point)
  • Knowledgeable in ERP systems (Oracle)
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills in English
  • Attention to details
  • Well developed analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify supply risks and to come up with solutions
  • Ability to work independently, while seeking advice from management and more senior team members when complex situations are encountered
  • Ability to work collaboratively across functions and locations at all levels of the organization
  • Delivers quality work on time, proactively addressing and resolving emerging challenges
  • Ability to develop and deliver quality presentations to management and other cross-functional teams
