JOB SUMMARY

The Senior Manager for Corporate Planning is responsible for leading the analysis and reporting of company wide financial performance. This position is also responsible for providing Management with sufficient information (i.e. forecasts, cost benefit analysis, trends) on the company's financial performance and providing relevant updates on economic conditions which can affect the future business performance.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Financial Reporting and Analysis

  • Lead the consolidation, reporting, and analysis of the company's financial results.
  • Assist the Director for Corporate Planning in the preparation and monitoring of the company's annual budget.
  •  Prepare presentation decks for performance review meetings with Senior Management.
  • Assist in process improvement projects.
  • Collaborate with business units and Senior Management to review monthly performance and identify risks and opportunities.
  • Convert key financial and operating data into strategic and value-added recommendations to support Management in making strategic business decisions.
  • Conduct financial analysis, modeling, forecasting and reporting.
  • Gather information and build financial models in preparing a summary of operating profit and loss statements, etc. on a weekly, monthly, and quarterly basis.
  • Work closely with business unit leaders on developing short-term forecasts, long-term strategic plans, annual budgets and operational analysis and reporting.
  • Support business units in analyzing and understanding their financial data.
  • Lead the monthly preparation of Profit and Loss (P&L) statements of all departments and summary of company's financial performance.
  • Monitor and examine macro and micro economic conditions that are relevant to the organization and regularly update Senior Management.
  • Ensure the accuracy of data and quality of analysis and recommendations.
  • Ensure timely submission of reports.
  • Ensure proper safekeeping of reports and data.
  • Research and keep abreast of trends or developments in the field of financial analysis and identify opportunities for continuous improvement of the company's financial reporting and analysis.

People Management

  • Enforce discipline and proper behavioral traits to subordinates, maintaining a fair, consistent, and non-prejudicial approach.
  • Monitor and provide feedback on performance of team members and conduct coaching/counseling 
  • Identify training needs and recommend learning / training opportunities for employees to ensure their continuous professional development.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, Statistics, or other similar courses.
  • At least four (4) years of experience performing financial reporting, data analytics, or other similar position in a managerial capacity is required.
  • At least two (2) years of experience managing a team.
  • Gaming knowledge or experience is an advantage
