Business Development Manager

PURPOSE

  • Implement MICTS strategies to achieve service excellence, operational efficiency, business profitability, and retention of people and customers.

 

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

 

Service Business Development (Internal and Client) & Service Design Management

  • Collaborate with Sales Business Unit, Solutions and Service Architect/s, Service Transition, Service Engineering, Service Operations, and other relevant Stakeholder to analyze client requirements, formulate proposed service design and architecture, and create service proposals to ensure seamless delivery of services and client satisfaction.
  • Support Account Managers in client presentations, negotiations, securing signed proposals, and service contracts.
  • Identify and research potential opportunities and market trends.
  • Provide reports and updates on MICTS Sales performance, market trends, and competitive activities.
  • Collaborate with Service Head, Solutions and Service Architect/s, Service Engineering, Service Operations, and other relevant stakeholders in producing quality, secure, and resilient designs for new and improved services to support the portfolio.
  • Produces and maintains all design documentation necessary for proposal submission/s.

 

Client Services Management (Internal and Client)

  • Ensure timeliness and quality of reports and presentations submitted to existing Service Clients. Provide business analysis and insights on the report submitted to the Service Clients.
  • Collaborate continuously with Service Operations and Service Transition to analyze reports to identify areas of improvement and cross-selling opportunities.
  • Collaborate with Account Managers and Service Delivery Managers on the fulfillment of requirements for succeeding milestone payments during business as usual

Business Relationship Management (Internal and Client)

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients, partners, and stakeholders to ensure customer satisfaction and continuous service improvement.
  • Act as a trusted advisor, providing insights and recommendations to clients, partners, and stakeholders.

 

Service Portfolio Management & Service Catalog Management

  • Collaborate with TMG on the creation and update MICTS Service portfolio and catalog
  • Ensure all information within the Service Catalog is accurate and up to date

 

Knowledge Management

  • Build and maintain existing Service Client knowledge database related to business development.
  • Creates, shares, uses, and manages the knowledge and information pertaining to potential Clients and opportunities.
  • Create content and conduct communication campaigns to promote MICTS internally and externally.
  • Perform other tasks and duties as may be assigned by the MICTS Head and Business Development Senior Manager.

QUALIFICATIONS

 

A.   Minimum Education

  • Preferably with a degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Engineering, or related courses.
  • Master's degree or pursuing post-graduate studies is an advantage.

 

B.   Minimum Experience/Training

  • Preferably at least 1-year working experience or training in any of the following:
  • Business development, account management, product management, sales, or other related field in the ICT industry; or
  • Project Management; or
  • Government ICT procurement; or
  • Business Analysis; or
  • Process analysis/ improvement, and documentation.
  • Experience in client interactions
  • Experience in coordination, presentation, and reporting

 

C.   Competency

  • Strong understanding of Managed Services offerings and technology solutions.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build rapport and negotiate effectively.
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to multi-task
  • Excellent presentation or storytelling techniques
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite

WORKING CONDITIONS

  • Reporting to the company's main office in Makati City on a hybrid work arrangement.
  • Collaborate physically and/or virtually with internal and external stakeholders.
  • May travel for face-to-face client meetings, company-sponsored conferences, and related marketing events.
  • Attend training and acquire certifications that are applicable to the role.
