Finance Business Partner

Additional head will help bolster financial analysis (with focus on OPEX)- track and control actuals against trend, budget and forecast- within the directives and policies set by management with the objective of driving financially guided business steering and decisions.
REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor's/College Degree in Accountancy Professional License in Finance/Accountancy/Banking or equivalent (Preferred but not required).
- At least 2 years of working experience in financial reporting and/or related fields and basic business sense.
Budgeting, Forecasting & Controlling
- Coordinates with business units to collect, organize, and analyze financial and other statistical data to build bottom's up OPEX budget & forecast.
- Tracks and analyzes variance/s between actual OPEX and budget/ forecast and have meaningful discussion with business partners to resolve or understand/ help assess go forward impact.
- Prepares actual vs budget reports.
- Works closely with accounting team to ensure accurate financial reporting, accruals and reversals.
- Helps in cost center usage and maintenance.
- Helps in tracking business functional KPIs through creation of relevant reports and providing few key insights.
- Helps ensure that major OPEX items like promotions and campaigns are rolled out efficiently and generating the desired ROI.
- Helps analyze current and past results, study trends and make recommendations for cost improvement.
- Helps in creation of budgeting and forecasting framework and policies.
- Liaises with business units and Accounting on new productivity and cost saving initiatives, and prepare business cases & simulations on ad hoc basis to support strategic and tactical business decisions.
- Prepares reports required both by internal and external users.
- Supports financial accounting, if necessary.
- Adheres to Company's code of ethics and policies.
- Remains competent and current through self-directed professional reading, developing professional contacts with colleagues, attending professional development courses, and attending training and/or courses as required by the immediate supervisor.
