Job Summary:
The Beverage Innovation Specialist plays a pivotal role in supporting the Business Development team through the creation and presentation of beverage concepts that highlight the company’s milk products and GNI SKUs. This role focuses on developing innovative beverage recipes tailored to market demands, conducting product demonstrations for clients, and maintaining high standards of food safety, equipment care, and inventory control. The role requires regular customer interaction and travel for product pitches, trainings, and industry events.
Key Responsibilities:
Product & Beverage Development
Develops a wide range of hot and cold beverages, including coffee-based drinks, cocktails, and mocktails, with consideration to seasonal and demographic trends.
Customizes beverage recipes based on customer requests and market insights using GNI SKUs.
Monitors and manages food and ingredient costs during recipe development.
Client Engagement & Demonstration Support
Assists the Business Development and Sales teams with beverage demonstrations during account visits, trainings, and events.
Represents and presents the company’s milk products and beverage concepts to clients, distributors, and industry partners.
Prepares and delivers customer-requested beverage prototypes and samples in a timely manner.
Inventory & Equipment Oversight
Oversees and maintains inventory of beverage-related ingredients and GNI SKUs.
Submits and tracks sample requests to the warehouse team as needed.
Monitors and ensures proper functioning of all beverage equipment; report malfunctions promptly for repair or replacement.
Compliance & Quality Assurance
Ensures that all beverage development and preparation processes adhere to public health and food safety standards.
Maintains cleanliness and orderliness of all workstations and equipment areas.
Market Feedback & Collaboration
Gathers and communicates customer feedback to management and product development teams.
Recommends new beverage ideas or improvements based on client insights and market trends.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Food Technology, Beverage Science, Hospitality, Marketing any related field.
Minimum of 2 years of experience in beverage creation, product development, or barista work.
Strong expertise in hot and cold beverage trends, especially dairy and coffee-based products.
Excellent communication and presentation skills; must be confident in facing clients and conducting demos.
Willing and able to travel for product pitches, events, and customer visits.
Proficiency in managing food cost, inventory systems, and equipment maintenance.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to public health and food safety standards.
Work Conditions:
Field-based with regular travel for client meetings, product demonstrations, and events.
Hands-on beverage development work in a lab/test environment.
Flexibility in work hours may be required to support business events or customer schedules.
