Petit Psychiatry seeks a responsible and experienced virtual assistant to join our team. While operating remotely, the Psychologist Assistant will provide various services, including administrative support, managing your online presence, and administering customer service for our Psychologist provider.  The ideal candidate should be tech-savvy, efficient in time management, able to communicate through multiple channels, and super organized. The virtual assistant will also be responsible for arranging meetings, and patient appointments, and maintaining health records.  Qualification:
  • 1-2 years previous experience as a Virtual Assistant to a Psychologist or relevant role **Experience in a mental health/medical field is a plus. We will not entertain applicants that don't match the required experience. 
  • Doctoral/Ph.D. level advanced degree in Psychology
  • Experience in writing Neuro Psychological reports 
  • Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, and Excel). Experience with Google Docs, cloud services, and other technology tools.
  • Able to manage time effectively and efficiently.
  • Highly organized multi-tasker and ability to work on multiple instructions.
  • Demonstrates excellent time management skills.
  • Self-directed and able to work without supervision.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Vital customer service and presentation skills.

Responsibilities:
  • Available to work 40 hours per week
  • Collect and gather comprehensive psychosocial information for new and existing patients. Familiarity and experience with medical terms (Psych) is a must. 
  • Writing comprehensive psychiatric reports.
  • Able to work nights (EST), weekends, and holidays as needed
  • Answering phone calls and scheduling appointments
  • Schedule and plan meetings and appointments
  • Conduction pre-appointment intake assessments
  • Ensure the patient completes intake paperwork.
  • Return phone calls, emails, and messages for patients and clients.
  • Calling in prescriptions to the pharmacy when instructed by the psychiatrist
  • Timely and accurate documentation in EHR.
  • Discharging her duties in compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and certification requirements.
  • Collect and interpret diagnostic data to implement appropriate client care plans.
  • Promptly respond to Staff inquiries regarding client concerns.
  • Maintaining such records as may be necessary to ensure the Contractor’s services are performed in compliance with the requirements of any governmental agency, accrediting body, funding source, or similar entity;
  • Participating in meetings and committees as reasonably requested by the Company related to the Contractor’s services
  • Other reasonable office-related duties
