The Administrative Assistant is expected to have experience in curating and researching news and can create newsletters. This role will also include marketing-related tasks, hopping into client meetings when necessary, and other administrative and ad hoc duties as assigned. The Administrative Assistant shall bring experience providing administrative support and newsletter creation experience for a US client or a US government agency.
What you'll be doing:
- Research daily news related to clients and be able to draft, create, or curate email newsletters
- Manage daily administrative tasks in relation to supporting multiple clients in the private and government sectors based in Texas
- Assist in the day-to-day operations of the company
- Coordinate and schedule meetings as needed.
- Stay abreast of assigned client industry trends, and general Austin, Texas Metro business, community, and politics to help team and client navigate opportunities mindfully
- Provide overall operational support including client services
- Experience in email marketing is highly preferred
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Knowledge or experience in providing services for a US client in a government sector highly preferred
- Proficient in MS Office, Google Workspace and project management tools
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
- Knowledge of US Federal laws is a plus but not required.
- Strong analytical and research skills.
- Highly organized and with a keen attention to detail
