Job Summary:

RemoteVA PH is currently seeking a Real Estate/Property Management Specialist to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of residential properties, ensuring they are well-maintained and compliant with all regulations. The ideal candidate will possess strong knowledge of property management practices, exceptional communication skills, and experience with relevant software such as AppFolio or Buildium.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage daily operations of assigned properties, including marketing, leasing, and tenant relationships.
  • Prepare and manage lease agreements, renewals, and terminations.
  • Coordinate property maintenance and repairs, ensuring timely responses to tenant requests.
  • Utilize property management software (AppFolio or Buildium) to track tenant accounts, process payments, and manage financial reporting.
  • Conduct property inspections, manage vendor relationships, and oversee maintenance staff.
  • Ensure adherence to local, state, and federal regulations regarding property management.
  • Maintain accurate records of tenant communications, maintenance requests, and financial transactions.
  • Assist with tenant screening processes, including background and credit checks.
  • Develop marketing strategies to attract new tenants and retain existing tenants.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to maintain high tenant satisfaction and occupancy rates.
Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in real estate or property management.
  • Familiarity with property management software such as AppFolio, Buildium, or similar.
  • Strong understanding of property management laws and regulations.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple properties effectively.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Real Estate, or a related field is preferred.
