Overview

The Invoice Manager/Rental Manager will lead and manage compliance functions within the Operations Team in relation to tax, vendors, and other documents necessary in rental management. This role is pivotal to ensuring our organization adheres to regulatory standards, mitigates risk, and fosters smooth operational processes. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in compliance, exceptional organizational skills, and the ability to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Rental Management: Develop / Maintain a vendor compliance framework, ensuring alignment with company policies and applicable regulations
  • Rental Management: Conduct periodic compliance audits to assess vendor adherence to contractual and regulatory obligations
  • Rental Management: Ensure non-compliance issues are resolved effectively and promptly
  • Tax Compliance: Oversee all aspects of tax compliance and timely receipt of documents
  • Tax Compliance: Liaise with internal teams to align compliance efforts with internal and government policies and identify the impact within the organization
  • Tax Compliance: Conduct regular edits to identify and rectify gaps
  • Compliance Monitoring and Reporting: Prepare detailed compliance reports for broader team and leadership team with analysis on trends, gaps and areas for improvement
  • Compliance Monitoring and Reporting: Manage compliance-related risks by implementing appropriate controls and follow-up mechanisms
  • Skills and Competencies: Expertise in tax compliance in the retail industry
  • Skills and Competencies: Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
  • Skills and Competencies: Detail-oriented and analytical using reporting tools such as Microsoft Office tools
