Citi Finance is responsible for the firm's financial management and related controls. We manage and partner on key Citi initiatives and deliverables, such as our quarterly earnings process and ensuring Citi's compliance with financial rules and regulations. The team comprises chief financial officers who partner with each of our businesses and disciplines including controllers, financial planning and analysis, strategy, investor relations, tax and treasury.

We're currently looking for a high caliber professional to join our team as Vice President, Global Metrics Finance Solutions Lead Analyst - Hybrid (Internal Job Title: Fin Solutions Lead Analyst - C13) based in Manila, Philippines.

The Fin Solutions Lead Analyst is a strategic professional who stays abreast of developments within own field and contributes to directional strategy by considering their application in own job and the business. Recognized technical authority for an area within the business. Requires basic commercial awareness. Developed communication and diplomacy skills are required in order to guide, influence and convince others, in particular colleagues in other areas and occasional external customers. Significant impact on the area through complex deliverables.

In this role, you're expected to:

  1. Contribute to the design, roll-out and governance of financial solutions.
  2. Participate in formulating and setting strategic direction for the process, organization and architecture covering Finance across Citi businesses, products, functions and locations.
  3. Assist in setting business and information architecture standards for Finance.
  4. Play a part in settling and operating necessary forums and frameworks to establish and govern policies and starts for global Finance processes.
  5. Participate in assessing and incorporating changing business, regulatory and market information needs into finance processes and applications.
  6. Be a strategic professional who advises on directional strategy by analyzing subject matter and its application in own job and the business.
  7. Act as a technical expert who acts as an advisor on significant business/product decisions.
  8. Implement policies and procedures.
  9. Perform other duties and functions as assigned.
  10. Have the ability to operate with a limited level of direct supervision.
  11. Exercise independence of judgement and autonomy.
  12. Act as SME to senior stakeholders and/or other team members.
  13. Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets.

As a successful candidate, you'd ideally have the following skills and exposure:

  1. 6-10+ years of relevant experience, within the financial services industry preferred.
  2. Recognized technical authority for an area within the business.
  3. Requires communication and diplomacy skills in order to guide and influence others.
  4. Experience and demonstrated ability to manage competing priorities in a complex and dynamic environment.
  5. Self-motivated with the ability to make decisions in the absence of detailed instructions.
  6. Advanced Microsoft Office skills.
  7. In depth knowledge of banking products/systems preferred.
  8. CPA preferred.
