The Growth team is a 30+ cross-functional group made up of product, growth, engineering, design and marketing professionals who support one another to achieve the biggest impact possible. About The Role

As a Content Writer at VEED, you will be at the forefront of shaping our brand's narrative and driving our marketing efforts. Your role involves crafting compelling and high-quality content across various channels, including blog posts, landing pages, and email marketing campaigns. You will be tasked with creating content that not only captivates and engages our audience but also drives meaningful conversions and enhances our brand's visibility. Your primary goal will be to deliver content that stands out, resonates with our target audience, and contributes to the growth of our brand.

What you will do

  1. Develop premium content assets for VEED, including:
    • Blog Posts: Produce high-quality, original, and well-optimized posts that engage our audiences at different stages of the funnel and rank for target keywords.
    • B2B/Enterprise Landing Pages: Develop and optimize landing pages tailored for B2B audiences, including SEO and Marketing pages with conversion-focused copy.
    • Link-Building Content: Create high-value resources specifically designed to attract backlinks and boost domain authority.
    • Marketing Emails: Write engaging email content to nurture leads and drive conversions.
    • Other Marketing Collateral: Create diverse marketing materials, including content for webinars, promotional activities and in-app notification copy.
  2. Lead research efforts to ensure all content is accurate, unique, and aligned with user search intent, competitor insights, and our brand's voice.
  3. Leverage AI-powered tools to enhance content quality, optimize SEO performance, and improve efficiency in content creation.
  4. Create supplementary copy: Write compelling excerpts, design copy, and meta tags to enhance the effectiveness of all content assets.
  5. Collaborate with stakeholders, Content Marketing Manager and other key team members to ensure all content meets our editorial standards and aligns with strategic goals.
  6. Identify link-building opportunities and help to develop content strategies that secure valuable backlinks from authoritative sources.
  7. Monitor and optimize content performance using analytics tools to continuously improve SEO metrics and conversion rates throughout the funnel.
  8. Innovate content ideas: Generate fresh content ideas and explore creative ways to repurpose existing content for maximum impact.
  9. Stay curious about AI advancements and explore how AI-driven content strategies can enhance engagement, search visibility, and conversions.

About You

  1. Proven experience: 2-3 years of experience crafting content for both B2C and B2B SaaS companies, showcasing a strong ability to adapt writing styles to different audiences.
  2. Exceptional writing skills: Demonstrated excellence in editorial and writing skills, with a keen eye for detail and the ability to produce clear, engaging, and persuasive content.
  3. SEO savvy: A solid understanding of the latest SEO trends, algorithms, and best practices, with a proven track record of implementing these techniques effectively to drive organic traffic growth.
  4. Link-building knowledge: Understanding of effective link-building strategies and how to create content that naturally attracts backlinks.
  5. Keyword research expertise: Ability to lead SEO keyword research to identify high-impact topics, optimize content for search intent, and ensure content ranks effectively in search engines.
  6. Team-oriented: A collaborative mindset, believing that exceptional content is the result of strong teamwork and cross-functional collaboration.
  7. Fluent communicator: Proficiency in both written and spoken English, ensuring clear and effective communication across all content formats.
  8. Growth mindset: Constantly seeking new SEO opportunities, staying updated on industry changes, and proactively suggesting content improvements to drive better results.
