Copy & Content Writer

Job Summary:

Create compelling and engaging written content across various marketing channels, including websites, blogs, social media, email campaigns, and advertising materials. Craft copy that effectively communicates the brand's message, resonates with the target audience, and supports the company's marketing objectives. Demonstrate a strong command of language, creative flair, and the ability to write in a style that aligns with the brand's voice.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Create Compelling Written Content:
    Write clear, persuasive, and engaging copy for marketing materials such as websites, blogs, social media posts, email campaigns, press releases, and advertisements. Ensure that all content aligns with the brand's messaging and tone.
  2. Craft Brand Messaging:
    Develop and refine the brand's voice and messaging across all content pieces. Maintain consistency in tone, style, and messaging per the brand guidelines.
  3. Support Marketing Objectives:
    Collaborate with digital marketing, brand activation, and design teams to create content that supports broader marketing strategies and business objectives. Write copy that drives customer engagement, conversions, and brand awareness.
  4. Content Optimization:
    Optimize content for SEO to improve visibility and search engine rankings. Stay updated on best practices for digital content and apply these principles to enhance content performance.
  5. Conduct Research:
    Perform thorough research on industry trends, target audiences, and competitors to inform content creation. Ensure all content is accurate, relevant, and adds value to the audience.
  6. Edit and Proofread:
    Review and edit content to ensure it is error-free, aligns with brand standards, and is of the highest quality. Provide feedback and revisions to ensure the final output meets the project's requirements.
  7. Collaborate with Teams:
    Work closely with designers, digital marketing strategists, and other team members to develop integrated campaigns that effectively combine visuals and copy. Participate in brainstorming sessions to generate creative content ideas.
  8. Monitor Content Performance:
    Track and analyze the performance of written content across different platforms. Use data and insights to refine and improve future content.
  9. Stay Updated on Industry Trends:
    Keep abreast of the latest trends in content marketing, copywriting, and digital marketing. Continuously apply new techniques and ideas to improve the quality and effectiveness of content.

Qualifications:

  1. Education:
    Bachelor's degree in English, Journalism, Communications, Marketing, or a related field.
  2. Experience:
    Proven experience as a Copywriter, Content Writer, or similar role in a marketing or advertising setting. Portfolio of published or completed work showcasing strong writing skills and versatility.
  3. Skills:
    Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading abilities. Strong understanding of SEO principles and digital content best practices. Ability to write in various tones and styles to suit different audiences and platforms. Creative thinking and the ability to generate fresh, original content ideas. Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
