Job Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Accounts Assistant to join our Clients' accounts team. The successful candidate will be responsible to handle AR/AP journal entries, EFT payments, reconciliation, petty cash, and invoice queries. Improve processes, manage finance inbox, and support admin tasks.

Work Set Up:

  • Employment Type: Full Time
  • Shift Schedule: Mon-Fri, 6:30 am to 3:30 pm
  • Work Setup: Onsite
  • Location: Makati
  • Client Industry: Appliances, Electrical, and Electronics Manufacturing

Key Responsibilities:

  • Full processing of AR and AP items.
  • Maintaining ledger entries and reconciliation of petty cash, bank accounts, credit card transactions to statements etc.
  • Scanning of accounts related documents / records / rename / save in appropriate location.
  • Investigate and resolve unpaid invoices.
  • Continuously improve accounts payable / receivable / credits processes and procedures to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Manage and maintain finance email in-box ensuring items are actioned in a timely manner.
  • Undertake ad-hoc project work as required.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in any field.
  • 2 years of experience in a related role.
  • Be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
  • Be proficient in accounting software (MYOB or similar).
  • High-level attention to detail and an ability to multitask.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Must be proficient in both written and spoken English.
  • Demonstrates integrity and professionalism.
  • People skills with a good, reliable can-do attitude.
