Job Overview

We are seeking a talented and experienced Azure Data Integration Engineer to lead our data integration projects using Microsoft Azure technologies. The ideal candidate for this role will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and implementing data integration solutions that meet business needs and drive organizational success. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in data engineering, ETL processes, and Azure services, with proven leadership skills and a track record of delivering complex projects on time and within budget.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the design, development, and implementation of data integration solutions using Microsoft Azure technologies, including Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks, Azure Synapse Analytics, and Azure Logic Apps.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyze business requirements, and translate them into technical specifications and solution designs.
  • Provide technical leadership and guidance to a team of developers, ensuring adherence to best practices, standards, and project timelines.
  • Design and implement scalable and efficient ETL processes to extract, transform, and load data from various sources into Azure data platforms.
  • Optimize and tune data integration pipelines for performance, reliability, and scalability, leveraging Azure services and technologies.
  • Implement data security and compliance measures to ensure data privacy and regulatory compliance.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot data integration processes, identifying and resolving issues in a timely manner.
  • Document technical specifications, design documents, and test plans for data integration solutions.
  • Stay abreast of emerging technologies, best practices, and industry trends in data engineering and cloud computing, and incorporate relevant insights into solution design and development.
  • Provide mentorship and coaching to team members, fostering a culture of learning and professional growth.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in data engineering and integration roles, with a focus on Azure technologies.
  • Proven experience in a leadership or lead developer role, with a track record of successfully leading and delivering complex projects.
  • Strong knowledge and experience with Microsoft Azure data services, including Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks, Azure Synapse Analytics, and Azure Logic Apps.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as SQL, Python, or C# for data manipulation and transformation.
  • Experience with data modeling, schema design, and database development.
