  • Maintain a safe and secure environment for employees, clients, and visitors by enforcing security policies and procedures.
  • Conduct risk assessments and provide safety and security recommendations aligned with Global Physical Security (GPS) standards.
  • Implement and oversee physical access control systems and CCTV monitoring; recommend system improvements.
  • Identify and assess security threats and escalate to the Senior Security Officer and Security Director with appropriate mitigation advice.
  • Provide timely and practical operational security support and consultation to internal stakeholders.
  • Plan and implement security measures for special and high-risk events.
  • Ensure compliance with GPS standards, local laws, and government regulations.
  • Assist the Safety Department in identifying safety hazards, recommending control measures, and supporting implementation of safety protocols.

Collaboration and External Relations

  • Build and maintain a strong network of security and intelligence contacts within government, related industries, and private security agencies.
  • Develop productive working relationships with internal departments and cross-functional teams.
  • Partner with the Public Health and Safety Operations Center (PHSOC) for coordinated security response management.

Emergency Preparedness & Safety

  • Act as Fire Safety Practitioner.
  • Ensure emergency preparedness and readiness across the organization.
  • Lead the Emergency Response Team (ERT) and coordinate emergency response efforts.
  • Ensure availability and maintenance of emergency procedures and equipment.
  • Plan, organize, and lead emergency drills and related training activities.
  • Fulfill duties of Safety Officer 3 under Rule 1047 of the DOLE OSH Standard.
  • Investigate accidents, health-related issues, and other safety incidents; conduct root cause analysis and submit reports.
  • Conduct regular safety inspections.
  • Facilitate health and safety meetings.
  • Assist government agencies during safety inspections, accident investigations, and related programs.
  • Oversee compliance with legal safety reporting and support application/renewal of permits with DOLE, BFP, and other regulatory agencies.

Experience

  • Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in security risk management within the BPO industry.

Functional / Technical Competencies

  • Skilled in conducting security investigations and writing detailed security reports and briefs.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office applications.
  • Updated on current security policies, procedures, and technologies.
  • Capable of developing security plans for employees, facilities, and reputation protection.
  • Strong network within government, related industries, and private security sectors.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills in English.
  • High analytical ability and sound judgment.
  • Motivated, energetic, and a strong team player.
  • Performs effectively in fast-paced environments.
