Description
  1. Work with business subject matter experts and data developers to create data testing strategies
  2. Develop automated tests for data assets
  3. Design, monitor and maintain data quality reports, KPIs & trends for the internal data systems
  4. Create data quality test plans and test cases
  5. Execute and automate data quality test cases, and perform bug tracking
  6. Help create and implement data quality processes and requirements
  7. Analyze large and complex data for quality issues relating to uniqueness, completeness, validity, consistency, timeliness, integrity, and accuracy
  8. Collaborate with data engineers, application developers, business owners, business subject matter experts, and data operations team to ensure the accuracy of production data pipeline designs and implementations
  9. Support the development and implementation of data quality management policies and best practices for improving the overall health of enterprise data
  10. Share Data Quality knowledge and best practices with team members and others throughout the organization
  11. Maintain and apply a working knowledge of industry best practices, testing tools, and techniques
Requirements

QUALIFICATIONS (Minimum requirements in terms of experience and background, skills and competencies for sourcing purposes)

Required Skills and Educational Experience:

  1. Bachelors in Computer Science or Information Systems or 3+ years' experience with corporate data management systems in high-compliance contexts
  2. Data management related certifications (e.g., CDMP certification) is a plus
  3. Ability to read/write SQL queries
  4. Experience working in a Big Data environment, dealing with large diverse data sets
  5. Hands-on experience in Python
  6. Demonstrates knowledge of structured testing methodology, with a proven ability to break down business requirements/functional/non-functional requirements into high and detailed test cases and test scenarios.
  7. Strong communication / organizational skills, analytical ability, and attention to detail.
