Job Description
We're seeking a skilled DevSecOps Engineer to join our team at Thinking Machines Data Science. As a key member of our infrastructure and security teams, you will play a critical role in designing, deploying, and maintaining cloud infrastructure for our client projects.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to work on a wide range of challenging projects, from developing AI-based software applications to implementing CI/CD pipelines and contributing to the infrastructure that runs our applications. You will also be consulted on the design of our solutions for client projects.

We are looking for candidates who have strong engineering fundamentals, a passion for security, and experience implementing solution architectures in cloud environments. If you have a strong background in DevOps, a willingness to upskill in security, and excellent communication skills, we want to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Design, deploy, and maintain cloud infrastructure in different cloud environments.
  2. Tailor-fit our core solution templates for Infrastructure to our client projects.
  3. Navigate and manage integrations with existing client infrastructure in cloud or on-prem.
  4. Set up and configure secure networking environments, including private networks, firewalls, peering, gateways, and VPNs, ensuring compliance with enterprise security standards and vulnerability assessments and penetration testing (VAPT).
  5. Implement Infrastructure via Terraform.
  6. Implement infrastructure that is scalable, secure, and highly available with our Engineering Leads.
  7. Support security efforts for incident prevention, detection, and response.
  8. Serve as an internal security consultant for enterprise clients.
  9. Liaise with IT personnel of enterprise clients.
  10. Work closely with the Engineering Leads and other team members to bring our systems towards clients.
  11. Communicate infrastructure and CI/CD effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
