Job Description

Architectural Strategy and Vision

  • Lead the development of a cohesive, long-term application architecture roadmap.
  • Define architectural frameworks, standards, and guiding principles.
  • Act as the "CEO" of the Common Domain, identifying shared requirements and creating foundational systems that support other business domains.
  • Ensure architectural decisions align with broader enterprise and technology goals.
Technology Leadership
  • Make high-level decisions on technology stacks and design approaches.
  • Evaluate and adopt emerging technologies to maintain technical excellence.
  • Govern and oversee architecture review processes and lifecycle standards.
Cross-functional Collaboration
  • Partner with executives, engineering, product, infrastructure, and security teams.
  • Translate business requirements into high-performing, scalable solutions.
  • Communicate architecture strategies effectively across stakeholders.
Team Leadership and Development
  • Mentor and guide the architecture team to encourage professional growth.
  • Promote a culture of innovation, ownership, and continuous improvement.
  • Align team resources with organizational priorities and key projects.

The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
  • 10+ years of experience in software architecture; 5+ years in a leadership role.
  • Expertise in enterprise-scale application design and architectural governance.
  • Strong knowledge of patterns like microservices, event-driven architecture, and domain-driven design.
  • Solid experience with cloud platforms (especially Azure; AWS/GCP a plus).
  • TOGAF or similar certification preferred.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Proficiency in system integration, API design, and DevOps practices.
  • Familiarity with Agile and digital transformation practices.
