Manager, Mechanical (Professional Mechanical Engineer)Responsibilities
  • Oversee daily mechanical maintenance operations and supervise contractors
  • Ensure property asset preservation and high customer satisfaction
  • Manage mechanical design, technical analysis, and engineering problem resolution
  • Plan and monitor preventative and predictive maintenance programs
  • Develop and maintain mechanical systems compliant with international and local codes
  • Supervise safety, health, and environmental policies and programs
  • Manage budgeting, performance reviews, and staff training
  • Coordinate maintenance activities across departments and ensure proper documentation via CMMS
  • Lead project engineering from design to startup, ensuring quality, schedule, and budget adherence
  • Handle maintenance contracts and oversee project execution
  • Conduct inspections and perform maintenance tasks in various environments
  • Promote safety, proper equipment usage, and continuous improvement in maintenance processes
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering and licensed Professional Mechanical Engineer
  • Minimum of 5 years of managerial or technical experience in a related field
  • Strong technical and functional skills in mechanical engineering
  • Action-oriented, with excellent analytical, organizational, and multitasking abilities
  • Independent worker and effective communicator (verbal and written)
  • Flexible team player capable of thriving in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
  • Proficient in Excel and PowerPoint; knowledge of Microsoft Access is a plus
  • Focused on operational excellence, revenue growth, market share, and cost efficiency
  • Experience in managing department revenue, profit, and discretionary/IPA budgets
