
Permits Manager

The Permits Manager ensures full compliance with national and local government requirements across the business, branches, and affiliates. This includes monitoring regulatory changes, managing permit processes, and liaising with regulatory agencies. The manager also oversees the permits team's daily operations to ensure timely and efficient completion of compliance tasks.
Responsibilities:
Ensure and monitor compliance, completeness, availability and timely submission of various registrations, permits, licenses and other similar documents necessary for the lawful operation of the head offices (HOs) and branches of the companies and its affiliates and/or related parties
Ensure accuracy, veracity and correctness of assessments, charges, and fees that are imposed
or may be imposed by the concerned national or local government units.Ensure payments and other compliance requirements are made on time and without penalty.
Anticipate in a timely manner, problem areas, risks or exposures against the companies and formulate plans or recommendations to address the same to the immediate superior for approval.
Liaise closely with other internal departments to ensure objectives are met.
Ensure direct reports are exhibiting efficiency in their work; provides technical guidance to liaison
officers.Designate, schedule and monitor assigned tasks of direct reports.
Manage, mentor, and supervise the permits team, ensuring efficiency and high standards of performance.
Qualifications:
Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's/College Degree in Finance/Accountancy/Legal
Management.High level of proficiency with Excel, math and logic.
Candidate/s must have a strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in permit management, compliance, or regulatory affairs.
3+ years of experience in people management, HR administration, or team leadership.
