We Need A seasoned investigator with hands-on testing focus. This role requires being keen-eyed to spot inaccuracies from a high-level perspective and then detailing and unraveling issues before they impact the product. You will be hands-on in testing, methodical in problem solving related to the business' products, and involved in the development of functionality, regression testing, and testing solutions, including the development of test plans for both existing and new products. Quality should be continuously checked throughout the process, not just at the end. You will participate in the discovery and design phases of new feature development and promote continuous testing to guarantee an error-free final product. You will collaborate across the engineering and product teams to set scalable QA strategies and create an environment for QA engineers to thrive. This is a 6-month contract with full-time hours.

You Will…

• Own quality, think critically, and test creatively: perform comprehensive functional and non-functional testing to uncover issues, assess user experience, and validate behavior across multiple scenarios to ensure deliverables meet requirements and design specifications.
• Collaborate cross-functionally: work with QA engineers, PMs, designers, and engineers in a fast-paced agile SaaS environment to ensure testing aligns with evolving product needs.
• Design effective test cases: analyze acceptance criteria to craft test cases with maximum coverage and edge-case consideration, using tools like JIRA for ticket tracking, Xray for test management, and Swagger for API checks.
• Report issues clearly: identify, document, and track bugs, providing actionable feedback to engineers, PMs, and designers to support rapid resolution.
• Be a process advocate: support the QA Manager and Senior QA engineers in shaping testing strategies, improving processes, and embedding quality across the software development lifecycle.
• Mentor and support: guide junior QA engineers, share knowledge, and model best practices in manual testing and team communication.
• Communicate proactively: keep stakeholders updated on testing status, risks, and blockers, and collaborate to meet release deadlines.
• Contribute to future automation efforts: while manual testing remains the core, show initiative to learn tools like Robot Framework or Selenium to support long-term quality initiatives.

Work Setup

• Shift options: 11:00 AM – 8:00 PM
• Hybrid schedule with an office in Ayala, Makati

You Should Have

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a similar field
• A hands-on QA background with ideally more than 3 years in manual testing
• Experience with agile development styles and scalable QA processes
• Strong leadership experience in implementing and shaping a company's QA processes and strategies
• Focus on continuous QA improvements including appropriate testing tools and techniques
• Strong communication skills with stakeholders to ensure QA vision is understood and implemented
• Experience collaborating with engineers and a good understanding of web tech stacks (backend, frontend, and related technologies)
• Attention to detail to ensure tasks meet business specifications
• Problem-solving skills with creativity, logic, and critical thinking to address quality challenges
