Job Summary:

We're looking for a seasoned HR professional to lead our HR function, develop and implement HR policies, and provide guidance on HR best practices. The successful candidate will have extensive experience in drafting HR policies and handbooks, as well as a strong background in HR generalist responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. HR Policy Development
    1. Develop, review, and update HR policies, procedures, and handbooks to ensure compliance with local labor laws and regulations.
    2. Collaborate with management both local and abroad to implement new policies and procedures.
    3. Conduct research and analyze industry trends to recommend policy updates.
  2. HR Generalist Responsibilities
    1. Provide guidance on HR-related matters, including employment law, performance management, and employee relations.
    2. Develop and implement HR initiatives to enhance employee engagement, retention, and development.
    3. Manage employee data, including attendance, leave, and benefits.
    4. Coordinate recruitment efforts, including job postings, interviews, and onboarding.
    5. Conduct investigations and resolve employee complaints and grievances.
    6. Develop and manage the company's employee handbook.
  3. Compensation & Benefits Management
    1. Develop and manage competitive salary structures and pay scales to ensure internal equity and external competitiveness.
    2. Design and implement incentive plans, including performance-based bonuses.
    3. Manage Employee Benefits Program: Manage employee benefit plans, including insurance, pension schemes, leave policies, to improve employee satisfaction.
    4. Tax Compliance Management: Ensure that compensation and benefits policies comply with labor laws and tax regulations.
  4. Leadership and Management
    1. Collaborate with management to develop and implement strategic HR plans.
    2. Represent the company in labor-related disputes and negotiations.
  5. Compliance and Risk Management
    1. Ensure compliance with local labor laws, regulations, and industry standards.
    2. Identify and mitigate HR-related risks, including employment law claims and employee complaints.

Requirements:

  1. Education and Certification
    1. Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
    2. SHRM-CP/SRM-SCP (preferred).
  2. Experience
    1. At least 10 years of experience in HR, with a focus on policy development, HR generalist responsibilities, and leadership.
    2. Proven experience in drafting HR policies and handbooks.
    3. Experience in managing HR teams and collaborating with senior management.
  3. Skills
    1. Strong knowledge of local labor laws and regulations.
    2. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
    3. Ability to lead and manage HR teams.
    4. Strong analytical and research skills.
    5. Proficient in HR software and systems.
