About the role

The role is responsible for providing high-level administrative support to the Vice President and the rest of the management team as requested and as time permits. The role serves as the primary point of contact for internal and external constituencies on all matters pertaining to the Office of the Vice President.

Key objectives & responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Provide a personal, confidential administration service to the Vice President in respect of his internal and external activities.

  • Undertake research for the Vice President on specified topics and produce data/reports to provide necessary information on which to formulate views and make decisions.

  • Provide organizational support to the Vice President to ensure that the Vice President can work efficiently and effectively.

  • Primary point of contact for internal and external visitors on all matters pertaining to the office of the Vice President.

  • Assists the Vice President with daily administrative duties and completes a broad variety of administrative tasks that include managing an active calendar of appointments; composing and preparing correspondences; arranging detailed travel plans, itineraries, and agendas and compiling documents for meetings and taking minutes.

  • Arrange events for the Vice President.

  • Coordinate customer visits and VIP visits.

  • Collate updates and inputs for the Vice President's Sales Monthly Meeting, Leadership Meeting, and Business Board Report.

  • Communicate with department leaders and gather inputs for other write-ups or presentations required from time to time by the Vice President.

Required Skills / Experience / Attributes:

Essential

  • Tertiary level qualifications in Business, Finance, Psychology, Human Resource Management or Engineering degree

  • Excellent organisational skills

  • Excellent communication skills - written and spoke

  • Strong business acumen

Desirable

  • Any relevant further studies

  • ISO Audit Training

  • With relevant work experience
