We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior PHP and Python Web and System Developer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in developing, deploying, and maintaining web applications and systems using PHP and Python. You will work closely with our development team to design, build, and optimize high-performance web applications and backend systems that drive our business processes.

Responsibilities:
  1. Application Development: Design, develop, and maintain robust web applications and backend systems using PHP, Python, and relevant frameworks.
  2. System Architecture: Collaborate with the architecture team to define the structure and design of new systems and improvements to existing systems.
  3. Database Management: Develop and optimize database structures, queries, and integrations with MySQL, PostgreSQL, or other RDBMS.
  4. API Integration: Create and maintain RESTful APIs and work with third-party APIs to integrate external services into our systems.
  5. Performance Optimization: Identify and resolve performance issues, ensuring applications and systems are scalable, secure, and efficient.
  6. Code Quality: Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code. Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers.
  7. Testing and Debugging: Implement automated testing, perform unit testing, and debug issues across multiple browsers and platforms.
  8. Security Compliance: Ensure that all developed applications adhere to the latest security standards and best practices.
  9. Project Management: Participate in project planning, provide time estimates, and ensure timely delivery of projects.
  10. Collaboration: Work closely with front-end developers, UX/UI designers, and other stakeholders to deliver cohesive and user-friendly solutions.

Requirements:
  1. Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Equivalent experience will be considered.
  2. Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in PHP and Python development.
  3. Technical Skills:
    1. Proficiency in PHP (Laravel, Symfony) and Python (Django, Flask).
    2. Strong experience with MySQL, PostgreSQL, or similar databases.
    3. Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git).
    4. Familiarity with front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript).
    5. Knowledge of Linux/Unix server environments.
    6. Experience with cloud services (AWS, Azure) is a plus.
    7. Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices is an advantage.
