Hi We're Smartsourcing, looking for a Senior Software Engineer who can work with us full-time and on-site

As a Senior Software Engineer at Smartsourcing, you will play a pivotal role in the development, implementation, and optimization of cutting-edge software solutions. You'll work closely with the Technology Experience team to build scalable and efficient systems that enhance our clients' digital experiences and support our company's rapid growth. We're looking for someone passionate about building smart solutions, thriving in a fast-paced environment, and who has a genuine desire to grow both professionally and personally.

Some of the things we expect you to do are to:

  1. Lead the design, development, and deployment of high-quality software applications and platforms that align with the company's strategic goals.
  2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create scalable, secure, and reliable systems.
  3. Mentor junior engineers, sharing best practices and leading by example in all stages of the development lifecycle.
  4. Engage in performance tuning, code reviews, and debugging to optimize application performance.
  5. Stay updated with the latest industry trends, tools, and technologies, and provide guidance on incorporating them into existing processes.
  6. Contribute to architectural decisions and technical roadmaps for new and existing projects.
  7. Ensure software security best practices are implemented across all projects.

We would need you to be or have the following:

  1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  2. Proven experience as a Senior Software Engineer, preferably in a fast-paced, tech-driven environment.
  3. Proficiency in multiple programming languages (e.g., Python, JavaScript, Java, etc.).
  4. Strong understanding of software architecture principles, cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, etc.), and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
  5. Experience with CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, and automated testing frameworks.
  6. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically about system architecture.
  7. Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate with teams both locally and internationally.
  8. Passion for innovation and continuous improvement.
