About The Role

Web Designers are people who are both creative and technically inclined—and use both attributes to create new designs/redesigns for websites. They should understand what is needed to make a website functional and easy to use while having the skill to create a design aesthetically appealing to the client and end-user. They specialize in creating (and laying out) the visual aesthetics of a website.

  • They should have a background in art or design and be highly visual by nature.
  • They should be well-versed in creating a user experience (UX) that makes sites easier to navigate, visually appealing, and enhances the user's ability to find what they're looking for.
Responsibilities Include
  • Exceptional skills using Figma—from building components to creating clean, clickable prototypes
  • Proficiency with Adobe Photoshop to create, edit, and compose design concepts
  • Background knowledge of HTML, keeping in mind how designs translate into full, working pages
  • Knowledge of photo editing and manipulation in Adobe Photoshop
  • Ability to recreate designs from scratch (e.g., PDFs or basic layouts in GIF/JPEG formats)
  • Knowledge in branding and logo creation
  • Knowledge of vector programs like Illustrator for maps, logos, or other collateral in high resolution
  • Working knowledge of Adobe After Effects to guide animation storyboards for websites requiring animation
  • Stay abreast of latest design trends and best practices
  • Ensure that comps meet Agent Image Design Standards
  • Know how to use Salesforce to check tasks and send updates to projects
  • Complete comps and upload by set deadlines; update Team Leader and AD/DS on project status in Salesforce
  • Inform Team Leader or Department Head if late or unable to come to work
  • Observe office decorum and break times
  • Make all source files accessible to the department head and co-designers
  • Collaborate with co-designers and share resources
  • Perform QA duties when necessary
  • Express viewpoints during design meetings and suggest improvements
  • Take over tasks from other designers when needed
  • Report to Team Leader/Department Head if client or Project Manager requests do not follow standards
  • Must complete the web designer training and pass the exam
  • Must be excellent with conceptualizing projects

Minimum Qualifications
  • Must have excellent design skills
  • Exceptional skills using Figma
  • Knowledge of Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator

  • Well-organized, self-directed, able to multitask, and committed to professional-quality work
