The Opportunity:

ECI has an exciting opportunity for a highly skilled Senior Systems Escalation Engineer to join our Team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for investigating and resolving patching-related issues, including server boot failures post-patching. The role requires expertise in Intune patch management, vulnerability management, and experience with patching tools such as ConnectWise Automate and Tanium. Proficiency in PowerShell scripting for automation and Windows server troubleshooting is mandatory, while Linux knowledge will be an added advantage.

This is an onsite role.

What you will do:

  • Collaborate with the patching team to ensure seamless deployment of patches and updates.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve patching-related issues and server boot problems post-patching.
  • Manage and optimize Intune patch management for endpoint security.
  • Conduct vulnerability assessments and remediation strategies.
  • Work with ConnectWise Automate and Tanium to streamline patching operations.
  • Develop and automate day-to-day tasks using PowerShell scripts.
  • Perform in-depth Windows server troubleshooting and system recovery.
  • Provide support and guidance on Linux systems (preferred but not mandatory).
  • Document procedures, issue resolutions, and automation scripts for future reference.

Who you are:

  • 8+ years of experience in patch management and system administration.
  • Proven experience with Intune patch management.
  • Strong background in vulnerability management and security compliance.
  • Hands-on experience with ConnectWise Automate and Tanium patching tools.
  • Expertise in PowerShell scripting for automation.
  • Advanced troubleshooting skills in Windows servers (Linux knowledge is a plus).
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.

Bonus points if you have:

  • Experience with Windows system administration. (Linux knowledge is a plus).
  • Knowledge of other automation tools for system management.
