Responsibilities
  • Work under the direction of the Design Engineer and BIM Job Captain.
  • Ensure accuracy of construction documents based on updated BIM models from other disciplines.
  • Collaborate and coordinate with other disciplines on design changes and model challenges.
  • Adhere to the Project BIM Execution Plan and workflow criteria.
  • Follow organizational BIM content standards and procedures.
  • Possibly lead the development of discipline-specific BIM modeling content.
  • Print drawing sets and participate in discipline reviews.
  • Prepare discipline models and content for BIM coordination meetings.
  • Export DWF and other formats for internal and external collaboration.
  • Maintain high communication and writing skills.
  • Use BIM software as a methodology for coordinating design documentation.
Software Expectations
  • Proficient in Autodesk Revit.
  • Knowledgeable in AutoCAD for drawing linkage and cleanup.
  • Familiar with Autodesk Navisworks for design review and collaboration.
  • Basic understanding of software interoperability for discipline tasks.
