Overview

Staff4Me is seeking a skilled Network Operation Center (NOC) professional who is passionate about ensuring the stability and reliability of our network infrastructure. Responsibilities
  • Continuously monitor network performance and availability using industry-standard monitoring tools
  • Quickly identify, document, and escalate technical issues according to established procedures
  • Perform initial troubleshooting for network-related incidents and implement corrective actions
  • Work closely with engineering and support teams to resolve more complex network issues
  • Maintain thorough records of incidents and service requests to support reporting and analysis
  • Assist in implementing routine maintenance and upgrades to network systems
  • Contribute to the development of standard operating procedures and best practices for NOC operations
  • Provide high-quality customer service and communication during incident resolution
  • Stay informed of new technologies and best practices in network operations

Requirements

  2. Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred.
  3. Previous experience in a Network Operations Center or similar role is desirable.
  4. Basic understanding of networking principles, including knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, routers, and switches.
  5. Familiarity with network monitoring tools such as PRTG, SolarWinds, or Nagios is a plus.
  6. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to troubleshoot network issues.
  7. Excellent communication skills to convey technical information clearly.
  8. Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  9. Willingness to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends, to cover 24/7 operations.
