Job Summary: Staff4Me is on the lookout for an experienced Network Operation Center (NOC) Tier 3 professional to join our elite team. This role is critical for maintaining and enhancing our network operations, ensuring that we deliver exceptional service and support to our clients. As a Tier 3 technician, you will troubleshoot and resolve the most complex network issues, lead incident response efforts, and provide expert guidance to junior team members. Responsibilities- Work on SSID requests, conference issues and other special requests
- Provide necessary analysis, aggregation and correlation of data, application logs, syslogs to isolate and identify faults in the production infrastructure (both wired and wireless).
- Work closely with Engineering, logistics, equipment and third party vendors as new equipment and technologies are integrated with the production network.
- Provide real-time assistance to T2s, PNOCs and handle escalated calls
- Work on Escalations, contact properties, troubleshoot and resolve outstanding issues. For cases escalated from PNOC and tech or onsite help is necessary, NOC will send an email to the property, explain the issue and recommend sending a technician to troubleshoot or replace the faulty piece of equipment.
- Work on Circuit Cutover
- Work with ISP to test their circuit and make sure that the entire IP block works and that the property is receiving correct/proper bandwidth.
- Work with vendors to get their devices configured for the new circuit, i.e. time clocks, Marriott routers.
- Work with our technician to run a cable from the new circuit to the core switch.
- PMS, Portal page implementation and troubleshooting including access code creation.
- Work with Tech Dispatches related to: PMS troubleshooting
- Wifi survey
- Troubleshooting related to 3rd party vendors (GRE, phones, conference, BO and other services like chip n pin, pay@table etc). This includes cable run issues and firewall install/troubleshooting due to issues affecting 3rd party services.
- Repeat dispatches - any PNOC dispatches that were unresolved during the first visit due to insufficient troubleshooting or cases escalated to vendors (aruba/ruckus)
- Bachelor\'s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred.
- At least 1-2 years of experience in a Network Operations Center, specifically in a Tier 3 role.
- Deep understanding of networking protocols, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, OSPF, BGP, and MPLS.
- Experience with network monitoring tools and platforms (e.g., Nagios, SolarWinds, PRTG) is essential.
- Proven ability to diagnose and resolve complex network issues while working under pressure.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and troubleshooting skills.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Relevant certifications such as CCNP, CCIE, JNCIP, or equivalent qualifications are highly desirable.
- This position may require working in shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays to provide 24/7 support.
