Overview

The Key Accounts Manager is responsible for developing, managing, and growing relationships with strategic clients in the chemical industry. The Key Accounts Manager works closely with cross-functional teams to deliver tailored solutions that meet client needs while aligning with company objectives.

Responsibilities
  • Manage and grow relationships with assigned key accounts, ensuring strong client satisfaction and retention.
  • Develop and execute account strategies to achieve sales targets, revenue growth, and profitability goals.
  • Identify new business opportunities within existing accounts and explore potential partnerships.
  • Provide clients with product knowledge, technical support, and value-added solutions relevant to chemical applications.
  • Conduct regular business reviews with key clients, addressing needs, challenges, and opportunities.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer requirements to inform business strategy.
  • Coordinate with internal teams (R&D, production, supply chain, and quality assurance) to ensure timely delivery and resolution of client concerns.
  • Prepare sales forecasts, reports, and presentations for management review.
  • Negotiate contracts, pricing, and service agreements in line with company policies.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Minimum 3–5 years of experience in key account management, business development, or technical sales within the chemical manufacturing or industrial sector.
  • Strong knowledge of chemical products, applications, and industry standards.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
