Position Overview:

This is for our subsidiary companies, Restaurant Concepts Groups (Barcino, Bluesmith, Meat Depot, and Single Origin) and Meatworld International, Inc. (MII).

The Finance Head Role is for PH-Based only and requires young, dynamic individual with strong financial acumen, leadership skills, and the ability to drive cost-efficiency measures while supporting business growth.

Key Responsibilities:

Financial Strategy & Planning:

  • Develop and implement the company's financial strategy.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to set financial goals and business objectives.
  • Prepare long-term financial projections, budgets, and forecasts.
  • Assess financial risks and opportunities, and recommend appropriate actions.

Financial Management:

  • Oversee all financial operations, including accounting, budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and auditing.
  • Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting in compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
  • Supervise the preparation of financial statements and ensure they reflect the financial health of the company.
  • Develop and monitor financial KPIs (Key Performance Indicators).

Team Leadership:

  • Lead and mentor the finance team, providing training and development opportunities.
  • Manage staffing, performance, and the ongoing improvement of financial systems and processes.
  • Ensure team productivity and adherence to departmental goals and deadlines.

Financial Reporting & Analysis:

  • Review and interpret financial statements to ensure accuracy and transparency.
  • Present financial data and insights to senior leadership and stakeholders.
  • Conduct regular financial analysis to monitor the company's performance and make recommendations for improvements.

Risk Management:

  • Identify and mitigate financial risks.
  • Ensure proper internal controls are in place to safeguard company assets.
  • Manage cash flow, ensuring liquidity and effective working capital management.

Regulatory Compliance:

  • Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal financial regulations and tax laws.
  • Work with external auditors to conduct annual audits.
  • Stay up-to-date with changes in financial regulations and implement necessary changes within the organization.

Business Partnership & Stakeholder Communication:

  • Provide strategic financial guidance to executive management, supporting business decisions.
  • Build strong relationships with key stakeholders, including investors, financial institutions, and regulatory bodies.
  • Act as a liaison between finance and other departments to ensure alignment with overall business objectives.

Qualifications:

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field (Master's preferred).

Experience:

  • Proven experience (8+ years) in finance or accounting, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
  • Strong knowledge of financial management, accounting principles, budgeting, and forecasting.
  • Experience in managing a finance team and interacting with senior leadership.
  • Industry-specific experience (if applicable) is a plus.

Skills:

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Proficiency in financial software and ERP systems.
  • In-depth understanding of financial regulations and tax laws.
  • Leadership and team management experience.

Certifications:

  • CPA, CFA, or other relevant financial certifications are a plus.
