About the Role
The jobholder's role is to validate and verify the review, documents prepared and set-ups in FBEQ performed by the Junior Documentation Specialist/Officer (JDS/JDO), limited not only to the documentation review but including all tasks and processes done by the JDS/JDO. Moreover, perform CIA issuance. Accounts that will be processed are those under WBS.
The jobholder must be familiar with all standard processes, necessary and related Credit Policy Manuals and Credit Risk Bulletins related to the role. Coordination with the Legal Division, Risk, and other Departments involved in all processes of CDRU shall also be part of the jobholder's role.
The jobholder shall also be responsible for coaching and mentoring her partner JDS to ensure that the processing and requirements of each account are understood.

Job Description
Analytical and Critical Thinking
- Reviews the Letter Approval Advice, Credit and Collateral documents, and checklist of requirements prepared by the Junior Documentation Specialist/Officer which are for client's signature and based on the approved Credit Proposal (CP) and/or Availment Sheet (AS).
- Authorizes the credit and collateral documentary requirements for the approved credit facilities/accommodation using the Credit Documentary Checklist (CDC) system via e-Source / electronic mail which is accessible to the business units for client's compliance.
- Validates the review of the Junior Documentation Specialist/Officer on the submitted credit and collateral documents.
- Authorizes the build-up/set-up of lending structures, approved limits, and BP set-up in the Fusion Banking Equation (FBEQ) platform which would mean that the approved credit facilities are operative.
- Issues the Credit Implementation Advice (CIA) for the approved line establishments or renewals, interim extensions, and case-to-case transactions/accommodations endorsed by the Junior Documentation Specialist/Officer.
- Secures legal opinion from Legal Division on the acceptance of risks and clarification on certain accounts to ensure that the interest of the bank is protected.
- Validates that the approved Credit Proposal (CP) and Availment Sheet (AS) was duly approved by the proper approving body.
- Coordinates and clarifies policy and bulletin concerns and regulatory matters with Risk Management Group in line with the review of the documents submitted by the client.
Governance, Control and Risk Management
- Coordinates and ensures review of the accounts is within the approved guidelines/Manual of Procedures (MoP) and bank policies to protect the Bank's position.
- Coordinates the registration of Real Estate Mortgage (REM), Chattel Mortgage (CHM), and other collaterals necessary to ensure the interest of the bank.
Quality Orientation
- Reviews and validates completeness, accuracy, and enforceability of the collateral documents submitted by the borrower using the Units guidelines/Manual of Procedures (MoP) and applicable bank policies and cite document deficiencies (if necessary) prior to Credit Implementation Advice (CIA) issuance.
- Reviews compliance on various reports as required by management such as but not limited to the Monthly Exception Report, Transaction Volume, and other applicable reports.
- Supervises and monitors the workload of Junior Documentation Specialist and informs the Section Head for assistance to immediately line balance the load to meet the required Turn Around Time (TAT) of the assigned Junior Documentation Specialist/Officer for timely delivery of services and better quality of work.
