Responsibilities

  • Manage and oversee all aspects of the financial accounting and reporting processes

  • Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports

  • Ensure accurate and timely recording of financial transactions and maintenance of the general ledger

  • Coordinate the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and financial models to support decision-making

  • Liaise with internal departments and external stakeholders to provide financial insights and recommendations

  • Implement and maintain effective internal controls and accounting policies

  • Manage the month-end and year-end close processes

  • Assist with tax planning and compliance, including the preparation of tax returns

  • Lead and mentor the financial accounting team, fostering a collaborative and high-performing work environment

What we're looking for

  • More than 25 years working experience from a real estate development company, at least 10 years at the same level capacity

  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in a financial accounting or controller role, preferably within the Accounting industry and the Financial Accounting & Reporting sub-industry

  • A bachelor\'s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field, with professional accounting certification (e.g., CPA) preferred

  • Proven track record of successfully managing financial accounting and reporting processes, including budgeting, forecasting, and internal controls

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret financial data and provide strategic insights

  • Strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team

  • Proficient in the use of financial software and Excel, with the ability to create and analyse complex financial models

  • Thorough understanding of relevant accounting standards, regulations, and compliance requirements

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively liaise with cross-functional teams

  • Experience in crafting financial strategies and models

  • Experience in Business Systems and Intelligence

  • Experience in ERP sourcing and implementation

  • Experience in Joint Venture and business startup

  • Experience in regulatory audits i.e. BIR, SEC, LGU

  • Proven track record of successful entrepreneurial leading

  • With work experience from RE industry specializing housing projects

  • With strong leadership skills (will lead Millennials and Gen Z)

  • Can train, mentor and supervise millennials and gen z managers

  • Excellent Presentation Skills
