Duties and Responsibilities

  • Analyze construction plans for Mechanical, Plumbing & Sanitary, and Fire protection worksand prepare quantity requirements

  • Prepare or coordinate to Third-party CM for accuracy of cost estimates and budgets for construction projects, considering materials, labor, equipment, and other relevant factors.

  • Prepare and review contract documents, including scope of work, conditions of contracts, and variations.

  • Take accurate quantity measurements from design drawings and specifications.

  • Prepare bill quantities and schedules of rates for tendering procurement purposes.

  • Liaise with site managers, clients, contractors, and subcontractors

  • Prepare reports, contracts, budgets, risk assessments, and other documents as required

  • Travel to various sites as required

  • Other ad hoc duties as assigned by SPD Supervisor, Manager and/or Division Head

Qualifications

  • Candidate must possess a Bachelor's/College Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering,

  • Preferably with 1-2 year(s) of working experience in quantity surveying within the real estate or construction industry.

  • Ability to read and interpret Architectural, Structural, Electrical& Auxiliary, Mechanical, Plumbing design, Fire Protection & other building Plans

  • Strong knowledge of cost management, budgeting, and financial control practices.

  • Familiarity with standard codes of Mechanical, Plumbing & Fire Protection and regulations is a plus
