QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Graduate of BS Civil Engineering

  • Preferably with at least one (1) year work related experience

  • Has basic skills in estimating and quantity surveying

  • Must be residing in Davao

  • Must be willing to be assigned to our project site, Verdon Parc, Ecoland Drive corner Peacock St., Davao City

Duties and Responsibilities:

Financial Management:

  • Prepares accurate and timely cost estimates related to project changes, including Request for information (RFI), Request for Approval (RFA), Confirmation of Verbal Instruction (CVI), Concession Applications (CA), Design Bulletins, Value Engineering (VE) efforts and innovations

  • Prepares budget rehashes and quantity take-offs for owner-supplied materials; develops Bills of Materials (BOM) using CostX, as applicable, in alignment with the Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) schedule

  • Reviews, validates, and facilitates processing of subcontractor's progress billing and conducts routine inspection for progress billing to verify payments in accordance with the conditions of contracts

  • Reviews contractor proposals for variation orders and claims, conducts routine inspections for evaluation, ensures additional costs are justified, and identifies opportunities to minimize expenses.

Cost Control & Reporting:

  • Monitors material usage and work quantities to ensure they remain within the maximum guaranteed quantities (as applicable) as per contract. Reports any potential quantity and cost overruns and provide insights how to mitigate cost overruns

  • Monitors resource utilization, including materials and labor hours (as applicable), and prepares budget vs. actual progress reports, including cost-to-complete analyses, highlighting potential overruns and cost-saving opportunities.

  • Monitors any changes in design and their cost implication including keeping up to date cost assessment tracker in collaboration with head office cost engineers

  • Maintains up to date project dashboard (based on up-to date records of all project expenditures and documentation), ensuring accurate tracking of budget vs. award vs. actual costs

  • Ensures the validity of bonds and insurances per subcontract agreement by maintaining up to date monitoring dashboards

  • Collaborates with the team to collect outstanding documents and invoices to close-out open accounts

  • Checks and validates data entry of cost data into the company system to achieve accurate cost reports
