Responsibilities:

  • Supports month-end and year-end close processes and ensures timely execution of responsibilities
  • Prepares asset, liability and capital entries by compiling and analyzing account information
  • Prepares monthly financial statements, detailed account analyses and accounting reports
  • Supports internal and external audit processes
  • Ensures the accuracy of financials through detailed analysis
  • Executes balance sheet reconciliations for assigned accounts
  • Responsible for the execution of one or more tasks related to accounting processes (fixed assets, taxes, collections, internal controls, etc)
  • Prepares special financial reports by collecting, analyzing and summarizing account information and trends
  • Coordinates accounting matters with other departments, locations and divisions
  • Actively participates on or leads project teams to improve accounting processes and procedures. Recommends enhancements and documents the improvements as necessary
  • Maintains satisfactory attendance incuding timeliness
  • Responsible for understanding and complying with applicable quality, environmental and safety regulatory considerations. If accountable for the work of others, resposible for ensuring their understanding and compliance
  • Communicates with manager and/or director on work status and other issues that arise

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accountancy, Business Administration, Economics or Finance;
  • 4 years of Accounting experience reflecting increasing level of responsibility
  • Ability to demonstrate intermediate skills and knowledge of MS Excel
  • Experience with SAP Accounting Software
  • Ability to demonstrate advanced skills and knowledge of MS Excel
  • Experience effectively communicating information and responding to questions from managers and other internal and external business partners
  • Experience solving practical problems and dealing with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists
  • Must be willing to work in a night shift schedule/US Hours and during PH holidays.
  • Must be amenable to work at Alabang, Muntinlupa when work in the office resumes.
