Salary Range: 18,000-25,000 (depending on experience)
This role will be crucial in supporting the smooth and efficient operation of our food retailing stall. You will be responsible for a wide range of accounting and administrative tasks, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and compliance with government laws, rules, and regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
Accounting Management:
- Audit actual daily Bank deposits versus Sales (cash on hand, Gcash, Panda or Grab) for the previous day.
- Audit Daily Sales Report versus POS Sales and Inventory record. Spot Variances.
- Record all daily expenses for purchases of supplies like Meat, bowls, bags, condiments, sauces, grocery items, ketchup, lemonade, etc.
- Manage petty cash fund and ensure its proper documentation.
- Reconcile funds per Bank Statement of Account versus internal business funds.
- Audit POS inventory Record versus Physical count of stock levels in all Outlets.
- Prepare Cash Flow - "Where Got and Where Gone" statement of funds received and disbursed or utilized to determine cash position and available investible funds.
- Prepare payroll and release individual salaries to all employees based on submitted Attendance Records for the pay period.
- Assist the Accountant in the preparation of financial reports, including profit and loss statements and balance sheets.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all financial transactions.
- Coordinate with the Accountant for the preparation of Monthly, Quarterly and Yearly financial reports to Management and the BIR, SSS, Pag-Ibig, Philhealth, etc.
Administrative Support:
- Coordinate with the Admin Associate in the efficient management of office supplies and equipment.
- Coordinate with the Admin Associate in negotiating with suppliers and vendors to effectively manage costs of supplies and materials purchased.
- Assist with the development and implementation of Operating systems of food stalls.
- Audit the implementation of policies and procedures regarding delivery of items purchased from suppliers, stock inventory levels, use of equipment and supplies, and other items as may be delegated to the job.
- Support other administrative tasks as required.
- Perform all other related duties as may be assigned from time to time.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in accounting.
- Proven experience in accounting or bookkeeping, preferably in the retail or food and beverage industry.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, or other ERP systems).
- Strong knowledge of financial regulations and reporting standards.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Attention to detail and strong analytical abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other relevant financial tools.
