Role Overview:

As the lead recruiter, you will manage the entire recruitment process for travel nurse positions, collaborating with hiring managers and senior leaders to attract, engage, and secure top travel nurse talent. You will be responsible for developing recruitment strategies, optimizing sourcing channels, and ensuring an effective hiring process.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop Recruitment Strategies: Create and implement effective recruitment plans for travel nurse roles that align with company objectives.
  2. Talent Sourcing: Utilize job boards, social media, and industry networks to identify and engage high-quality travel nurse candidates.
  3. Enhance Candidate Experience: Ensure a positive, professional candidate experience throughout the recruitment process.
  4. Collaborate with Stakeholders: Work closely with hiring managers and department leaders to meet their recruitment needs.
  5. Conduct Market Research: Monitor industry trends, market conditions, and competitor practices to refine recruitment strategies.
  6. Optimize Recruitment Processes: Continuously improve recruitment workflows, tools, and metrics to enhance efficiency.
  7. Lead Recruitment Team: Provide guidance and mentorship to a team of recruiters, ensuring alignment with recruitment goals.
  8. Report on Metrics: Track and analyze key recruitment metrics, offering insights and recommendations to senior leadership.

Qualifications:

  1. Experience: Minimum 5 years in travel nurse recruitment, with 2+ years in a leadership or managerial role.
  2. Knowledge: Deep understanding of travel nurse roles, healthcare regulations, and industry trends.
  3. Skills: Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal abilities.
  4. Leadership: Proven track record in leading and motivating a recruitment team.
  5. Education: Bachelor's degree in human resources, business administration, or a related field.
  6. Technical Skills: Experience with applicant tracking systems (ATS), vendor management systems (VMS), and other recruitment tools.
